Dylan O’Brien Still Carries Stiles’ Iconic 'Teen Wolf' Shirt on Set

Dylan O’Brien is known for playing Stiles Stilinski on MTV’s Teen Wolf, and years later, he’s still keeping a special part of that role with him. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 33-year-old actor revealed that he wears the blue Beatles shirt Stiles wore in the very first episode on the first day of every new project. “That job will always be near and dear to me,” he said, calling the tradition “super nostalgic.”

O’Brien shared a funny story about almost losing the shirt in Australia when it was carried off by the wind. “I sprinted across the park to retrieve it,” he recalled. The actor hasn’t appeared in the 2023 Teen Wolf movie, though most of the original cast did return. Even so, O’Brien still looks back fondly at his time on the show, saying it’s “amazing that that show still gets so seen by young people.”

Fans can catch him next in Ponyboi, a thriller about an intersex sex worker and a dangerous drug dealer in early-2000s New Jersey. The film hits theaters this Friday.
