Doechii’s ‘Alligator Bites Never Heal’ Climbs to Top 10 on Billboard 200 For the First Time

The Swamp Princess does it again, with vinyl sales pushing her album to the top of Billboard’s chart.
Doechii lands her first top 10 album on the Billboard 200 as Alligator Bites Never Heal leaps from No. 24 to No. 10 on the May 3 chart. The 2025 Billboard Woman of the Year’s Grammy-winning album climbs after a wider vinyl release and its first CD drop.
In the week ending April 24, the album earned 33,000 equivalent units in the U.S., according to Luminate — up 43%. That includes 18,500 streaming units (25.9 million streams), 14,000 album sales (up 325%), and 500 track equivalent units.
Released in 2024 with 19 tracks, the album was reissued in March with the viral bonus track Anxiety, helping it previously reach No. 12 on the March 29 chart.
Just a little over a week ago, Doechii dropped another visual masterpiece for Anxiety, featuring one-of-a-kind choreography and an attitude that shines through her vocal delivery and movement.
Anxiety also became Doechii’s first top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 (March 29), while earlier single Denial Is a River peaked at No. 21 in February.
