Dasha confirmed she’ll open her Stagecoach set with a new, upbeat song that won’t be released online—making it a one-time-only moment for festivalgoers.

Dasha at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2024Dasha is set to hit the Stagecoach 2025 main stage this weekend (April 25-27) alongside heavyweights like American singer-songwriter Zach BryanZach Bryan, Jelly Roll, and Luke Combs—but she’s also bringing something new. The 25-year-old Austin singer will open her set with Give Me a Second, an unreleased track that won’t be dropped online or promoted as an official single. Instead, Dasha describes it as a “super fun, upbeat” moment she’s sharing just because it feels right for the crowd, telling People magazine:

“The lyrics are so real. I like having a really fun time showing my personality in my lyrics, and this song is the perfect one that sums it up.”

The live debut will be the only way to hear the song for now, giving Stagecoach fans an exclusive first listen. This performance will be Dasha’s first time with her own set at the festival’s main stage, complete with a 10-piece band and four dancers. Last year, she only appeared during American DJ, music producer and songwriter Diplo (Thomas Wesley Pentz)Diplo and Dillon Francis’ set to perform Austin, which later peaked at #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top ten in several countries including the UK, Ireland, and Norway.

In her recent People interview, Dasha revealed this is just the beginning—she has two new EPs coming in 2025, with plans to release the first one soon and another in October that will eventually combine into a larger album. She explained that after the whirlwind success of -Austin, which she signed to Warner Records for in June 2024, she’s using these upcoming projects and performances to reintroduce herself: “I get to backtrack in a way where I get to introduce people to who I am, where I come from, what I stand for, and what my music is all about.”

The singer, who released her second full-length album What Happens Now? in February 2024, also shared that her new music will blend her love of bluegrass instruments like banjos and fiddles with pop hooks, calling it “the most ‘me’ I’ve ever felt with my music.” Between her Stagecoach debut, partnership with Patrón El Alto (who are sponsoring the festival’s afterparties), and upcoming releases, it’s clear the self-described “Trailer Swift” isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
