The country singer takes shots at the queen for dominating the country charts — valid critique or plain jealousy?

Gavin Adcock recently posted a video on his X account claiming that Beyoncé doesn’t deserve a leading spot on the country music charts, stating that her Cowboy Carter album has nothing to do with country.

“It doesn’t sound country, it doesn’t feel country.”

Adcock also shared an image showing the top-rated country albums on Apple Music, where his My Own Worst Enemy holds the No. 4 spot, just behind Cowboy Carter in third place.

During a recent concert, Adcock told the crowd:

“One of them’s Beyoncé — you can tell her we’re coming for her f—in’ a–. That sh– ain’t country music and it ain’t ever been country music."
