Clairo Joins El Michels Affair on New Single 'Anticipate' From '24 Hr Sports' Album
Clairo teams up with El Michels Affair on ‘Anticipate,’ the lead single from the upcoming ‘24 Hr Sports’ album, out September 5 on Big Crown Records.
Clairo is the featured vocalist and co-writer on Anticipate, the lead single from El Michels Affair’s upcoming album 24 Hr Sports, set for release September 5, 2025, on Big Crown Records. The Brooklyn-based soul group and Clairo returned to the studio together after working on her 2024 album Charm. The collaboration mixes Clairo’s dreamy indie pop with El Michels Affair’s signature retro soul style.
24 Hr Sports takes inspiration from the design of ’80s and ’90s Sports Illustrated, 
MF DOOM’s Special Herbs series, and gospel music in the style of Pastor T.L. Barrett. Alongside Clairo, the album features guest appearances from 
Norah Jones, 
Shintaro Sakamoto, 
Dave Guy, and 
Rahsaan Roland Kirk.
CThe single is available on all major streaming platforms, and a music video will be released alongside the track.
