CHINCHILLA Drops Surreal 'Ok As I Am' Music Video

The singer stressed that Ok As I Am should be watched in full, calling the video “a fucking beautiful mess” of emotion and style.
CHINCHILLA has unveiled the music video for Ok As I Am, a surreal and cinematic take on heartbreak, grief, and self-acceptance. Directed by fashion photographer Kai Cem Narin, the hip hop project leans into high-fashion aesthetics.
Premiering on August 21, the video was self-funded on “low/no fees,” reinforcing CHINCHILLA’s independent approach and creative control. She called it “a once in a blue moon passion project” and “one of my favourite things I have ever made,” highlighting its personal importance.
The concept was born from a casual brainstorming session “four wines deep” with Narin, but its execution is anything but casual.
CHINCHILLA urged fans to watch the video in full, describing it as “a fucking beautiful mess” meant to be experienced as a complete piece. The release stands as one of her boldest artistic statements to date.
