Written during the loss of her grandfather and a breakup, Cat Burns describes How To Be Human as a deeply personal comfort project.

Cat BurnsCat Burns will release her second studio album How To Be Human on October 31, 2025, via Since ’93 and RCA Records. The 16-track project includes recent singles All This Love and GIRLS!, alongside intimate voice notes that thread through its sound.

Burns calls it her “comfort album,” written during a year marked by the death of her grandfather and a breakup. She describes the music as a way to process “ego death” and rebuild hope. Production comes from Rob Milton, Jordan Riley, Humble The Great, and GG Stok.

Her debut early twenties reached the UK Top 10 in 2024 and earned BRIT and Mercury Prize nominations. Pre-orders for How To Be Human are now live with signed CDs and splatter vinyl, while a seven-date UK tour in November will follow the release.
