Booboo Stewart and Abigail Breslin Join Cast of Upcoming Drama-Comedy 'A Good Fight'

Booboo Stewart and Abigail Breslin have been cast in a new drama-comedy called A Good Fight, directed by Robert Rippberger. According to THR, the story follows a small-town businessman whose interview with a college journalist ends up changing his life. Breslin is known for her roles in Little Miss Sunshine, Zombieland, and Scream Queens, while Stewart has appeared in Twilight, X-Men, and the recent thriller Contra.

The script was written by Pierce Gardner (Dan in Real Life), and the producers include Justin Shaner and Fernando H. Rojas for Sobe Brooke Studios. Production is scheduled to begin this June in North Carolina, with some scenes set to be filmed at Meredith College in Raleigh. The filmmakers plan to involve local students during the shoot as part of their partnership with the college.

The movie’s tone is being compared to It’s a Wonderful Life, balancing comedy and emotional moments. No release date has been announced yet.
