Rap, metal, and indie rock—these are the tracks that climbed to the top of Spotify’s chart.

Spotify just posted new charts outlining the best debut albums and songs currently making serious waves.

Rising hip-hop star BigXthaPlug at premiere of Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, 2024BigXthaPlug secured the top spot on Spotify’s Top Songs Debut chart in the U.S. with his latest collab single with Bailey Zimmerman performs onstage during the 16th Annual Academy of Country Music Honors at Ryman Auditorium on August 23, 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee. Second place went to anonymous metal band Sleep TokenSleep Token, whose new single Caramel is already sitting at a staggering 8.2 million streams.

American indie rock band The MariásThe Marías landed third with their latest track Back to Me, an ethereal, indie slow-burner that’s racked up over 3.4 million streams since dropping on April 4.
