On August 10, Platt confirmed the song’s arrival with an Instagram post showing the single’s cover art and the caption: “Ask and ye shall receive. ‘Diet Pepsi’ (Live from 2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards) streaming now.” Rae replied with a one-word comment: “Heaven.” The release preserves a one-off live moment from the ceremony, now available for replay beyond its original broadcast.
