Bella Ramsey Reveals First Look at 'Sunny Dancer' During Ongoing Filming in Scotland

The first look at ‘Sunny Dancer’ shows Bella Ramsey stepping into a new role as a teen figuring things out at summer camp.
Bella Ramsey is back on screen—but this time, it’s not about fighting off clickers. The first image from their upcoming coming-of-age comedy Sunny Dancer has just been released by Variety, showing them mid-shout alongside a group of young co-stars.
Sunny Dancer follows a teenager named Ivy (played by Ramsey), who is in remission from cancer. Her parents insist she attend a summer camp for young cancer survivors, but she dreads the idea. Reluctantly, she goes, and despite her initial skepticism, she ends up making new friends—and even falls in love for the first time.
The film is currently shooting in Scotland and is set for a 2026 release. It’s directed by George Jaques and features a standout cast, including Ruby Stokes,
Earl Cave,
Louis Partridge,
Conrad Khan, and
Neil Patrick Harris.
In addition to Sunny Dancer and their role in The Last of Us, Ramsey recently left social media after facing online hate related to the series.
