Beanie Feldstein Breaks Into Sci-Fi as AI in 'The End of It'

Beanie Feldstein joins sci-fi film ‘The End of It’ as an AI in a future where death is optional—now filming in Spain.
American actress Beanie Feldstein, known for her roles in Booksmart and American Crime Story: Impeachment, is set to make her sci-fi film debut!
According to Deadline, she’ll star in The End of It, the directorial debut of Maria Martinez Bayona, alongside Rebecca Hall,
Gael García Bernal,
Noomi Rapace, and
David Verdaguer.
Set in a future where death is no longer inevitable, Rebecca Hall plays an artist who decides she’s ready to die. Her choice disrupts her family—including her husband (Gael García Bernal), daughter (Noomi Rapace), and AI assistant (Beanie Feldstein)—as they all try to understand what it really means to live and let go.
Most recently, Feldstein starred in the crime comedy Drive-Away Dolls with Margaret Qualley and
Geraldine Viswanathan. She’s also part of Merrily We Roll Along, a long-term project with
Paul Mescal,
Ben Platt, and
Mallory Bechtel that will film over 20 years.
Production on The End of It began last month in Spain’s Canary Islands, with sales expected to launch at the Cannes Film Festival.
