Austin Butler has finally explained the viral clip of his “awkward” dance moves at 
Bad Bunny’s recent Puerto Rico concert. Speaking on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the 33-year-old actor said he was there with Caught Stealing director 
Darren Aronofsky and thought they would just watch from the crowd. Instead, they ended up on a secondary stage right after he had taken an edible.
“I thought it was a good idea, but it was not,” Butler joked. Being high while not enjoying the spotlight left him torn between enjoying the music and avoiding stealing attention from Bad Bunny. The result was arms crossed and hips swaying, which quickly became a meme online.
Butler said he had lunch with Bad Bunny earlier that day and felt proud of his co-star’s bond with Puerto Rican culture. The timing is ideal since Caught Stealing, starring both, arrives in theaters on August 29, 2025.
