Anne Wilson Shares Emotional God Story Teasers With Fans, Out This Friday

Anne Wilson returns with her new single God Story, out Friday, June 20, 2025. God Story draws on Wilson’s personal experience with loss — her older brother Jacob died in a car accident when she was 15, a tragedy that shifted her dreams from NASA to country music.

Wilson’s musical path began when a video of her singing What a Beautiful Name at her brother’s funeral went viral, leading to a contract with Capitol Christian Music Group. Since then, she’s released two albums, My Jesus and Rebel, both topping Christian charts and breaking into country’s Top 10. The new single follows her Rebel (Revisited) project, which included collaborations with Chris Tomlin and Lainey Wilson.

Anne debuted God Story live at a private Nashville event on June 16 and has teased clips on TikTok and Instagram, where she’s received strong fan feedback. This summer, she’ll join Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem Tour as an opener and perform several shows in Nashville. God Story is available to stream everywhere June 20.
