English actress Aimee Lou Wood Aimee Lou Wood, known for her BAFTA-winning role in Sex Education and her recent appearance in The White Lotus Season 3, is stepping into a new spotlight with Anxious People, as reported by Deadline.

In this upcoming film adaptation of Fredrik Backman’s novel, Wood takes on the role of Grace, a reluctant bank robber who unintentionally holds up a group of strangers during a real estate open house. Angelina Jolie joins her as Zara, a no-nonsense investment banker who gets caught up in the chaos.

The story is described as a “crime that never took place” and leans into themes of vulnerability and human connection—topics that have struck a chord with audiences lately.

Besides Anxious People, Wood is also set to star in the crime thriller Sweet Dreams alongside Nick Frost, Paapa Essiedu, Billy Howle, and Niamh Algar.
