The trailer for ‘Splitsville’, starring Adria Arjona and Dakota Johnson, just dropped ahead of its August 22 release.

Adria Arjona is front and center in the new trailer for Splitsville, a comedy about how one big decision can shake up everyone’s life.

Directed by Michael Angelo Covino and co-written with Kyle Marvin, the film follows Arjona as Ashley, who asks her husband Carey (Marvin) for a divorce. Carey, unsure what to do next, turns to his friends Julie (Dakota Johnson) and Paul (Covino), who admit they have an open marriage.

That confession leads Carey and Julie to hook up — and Paul isn’t happy when he finds out. The trailer sets up a messy story with a strong supporting cast that includes Nicholas Braun and David Castañeda. Covino and Marvin previously collaborated on 2019’s comedy drama The Climb.

Splitsville hits limited theaters on August 22 and goes worldwide on September 5.
