Adria Arjona shares how playing Bix in ‘Andor’ changed her life—so much she got a tattoo to remember it.

Adria Arjona, best known to Andor fans as Bix Caleen, recently sat down with Gold Derby to talk about just how much the Star Wars series has meant to her—so much, in fact, that she marked the end of filming with a stick-and-poke tattoo of her character on her forearm. “It was the best university I could have ever gone to,” Arjona shared, describing how working with set designers, costume teams, and the rest of the crew let her dive deep into the gritty world of Andor.

She spoke about how the show stands out from other Star Wars projects, pushing into darker, more realistic territory. “It takes Star Wars out of the realm of myth and fairytale and into allegory,” Arjona explained, especially when dealing with tough scenes like Bix’s attempted assault—a moment she says was made possible by the support of women around her.

While Arjona is content with Bix’s journey so far, she admitted, “I would obviously die to play her again.” For her, Andor has left a lasting impression both on her skin and in her career.
