Aaron Pierre joins the voice cast of Sony’s animated sports comedy ‘Goat’, set for release during NBA All-Star Weekend 2026.

Michael LoccisanoAaron Pierre has joined the voice cast of Goat, an upcoming animated sports comedy film from Sony Pictures Animation, according to Deadline. The movie is directed by Tyree Dillihay and co-directed by Adam Rosette. It follows the story of Will, a small goat who gets an unexpected chance to compete in “roarball,” a fictional, fast-paced, co-ed sport played by animals. Pierre joins a cast that includes Jennifer Hudson, Stephen Curry, Gabrielle Union, American actor Caleb McLaughlinCaleb McLaughlin, and others.

Goat is scheduled for a theatrical release on February 13, 2026, timed to coincide with NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles. The film is produced in collaboration with the NBA, with Stephen Curry and Erick Peyton producing under their Unanimous Media banner. Additional producers include Michelle Raimo Kouyate, Adam Rosenberg, and Rodney Rothman of Modern Magic.
