Apple and Skydance’s upcoming action-adventure, ‘Mayday’, is beefing up its star power by enlisting a diverse mix of talent. Academy Award nominee Maria Bakalova, recognized for her breakout role in ‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm’, joins Marcin Dorocinski of ‘Mission: Impossible’ fame, Lovell Adams-Gray from ‘Power Book II: Ghost’, and ‘The Wire’s’ Clark Johnson, rounding out a cast led by Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh.
While details of ‘Mayday’ remain hush-hush, excitement builds with the promise of a Goldstein and Daley original. Bakalova, riding high on recent roles in ‘The Bubble’ and ‘Bodies Bodies Bodies’, is also set to appear in Seinfeld’s ‘Unfrosted’ and in the Donald Trump biopic ‘The Apprentice’. With this line-up, ‘Mayday’ is already sending out a strong signal to action and adventure fans everywhere.
