Actor Michael J. Fox, suffering from Parkinson’s disease (known from the “Back to the Future” film series), appeared at this year’s BAFTA ceremony. He announced the winner of the Best Film award, which was ultimately won by Christopher Nolan for the film “Oppenheimer” (2023). Michael J. Fox was brought to the stage in a wheelchair, receiving a standing ovation from the audience.

Michael J. Fox also stars in the biographical film “Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie” directed by Davis Guggenheim, which was nominated for Best Documentary at the BAFTA awards.
