Jaafar Jackson, the son of Jermaine Jackson, appeared on the set of the biographical film “Michael” dressed and made up to resemble his legendary uncle, Michael Jackson. Actress Nia Long joined him on the scene; she is set to portray the singer’s mother, Katherine Jackson, in the upcoming film. Nia Long had already been filming last week with Colman Domingo (portraying Joe Jackson) and the young actors playing the members of the Jackson 5, the family group where Michael began his career.
Lionsgate, the studio behind the film, also released a photo featuring Jaafar Jackson looking like his uncle during the Dangerous Tour in 1992-1993. “Michael,” directed by Antoine Fuqua, is scheduled to hit theaters in 2025.
