Director Rupert Sanders, who is preparing a new adaptation of the 1994 film “The Crow” (directed by Alex Proyas) during which Brandon Lee (son of Bruce Lee) tragically died, declares that his soul is “still very much alive” in this new iteration. Lee, who tragically lost his life on the set of the original 1994 film due to a gun accident, is celebrated for his iconic role as Eric Draven.
The remake, with Bill Skarsgård stepping into Lee’s footsteps, features a visually striking Draven with a** punk aesthetic** and haunting black makeup, reflecting Lee’s unforgettable portrayal. The emerging film comes with new elements but also serves as a tribute to Lee’s lasting legacy. Set against a backdrop of vengeance and undying love, “The Crow” promises to revive the classic story, with its premiere scheduled for June 7.
