Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett are Returning
In the movie “Bad Boys: Ride or Die,” detectives Mike Lowrey (Will Smith, born 1968) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence, born 1965) return to the silver screen for the fourth time. This time, they find themselves in high stakes where their reputation and lives are at risk. The duo must clear the name of their former captain, who is accused in a corruption scandal. Alongside Smith and Lawrence, the film also features Vanessa Hudgens (1988) and Alexander Ludwig (1992).
Production Challenges and World Premiere
Filming began in April 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia, and Miami, Florida. However, production faced delays due to the SAG-AFTRA strike in 2023, and it was finally completed in March 2024. Despite these challenges, this long-awaited film by directors Adil El Arbi (1988) and Bilall Fallah (1986) had its world premiere on May 22, 2024, in Dubai.
