Want to catch the next big thing before everyone else? These three pop acts are bringing fresh sounds and serious buzz to Summerfest 2025.

Summerfest isn’t just about the headliners. If you want bragging rights (and some new playlist favorites), don’t miss these rising pop artists lighting up the festival’s biggest stages.

American singer-songwriter Gigi PerezGigi Perez

Gigi Perez opens for Hozier at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on June 20 at 7:45 p.m. Perez, who was born in New Jersey and raised in Florida, first gained attention with the single Sometimes (Backwood), which reached #1 on Spotify’s U.S. Viral chart and has surpassed 200 million streams. In 2024, she began releasing music independently, including the singles Normalcy, Please Be Rude, and Sailor Song—the latter earning her a debut on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #22. Perez has toured with artists such as Norwegian singer-songwriter and record producer  Girl in Red (Marie Ulven Ringheim)girl in red and Richy Mitch & the Coal Miners, and headlined shows in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Berlin.

Tiny HabitsTiny Habits

Tiny Habits play the Miller Lite Oasis on June 21 at 5:30 p.m. The Boston-based trio (Cinya Khan, Maya Rae, and Judah Mayowa) formed in 2022 while attending Berklee College of Music. They first found an audience through viral TikTok and Instagram covers, then released their debut EP, Tiny Things, in April 2023. Their first full-length album, All For Something, was released on May 24, 2024. In 2025, Tiny Habits are touring North America and Europe, and will open for James Taylor on a 23-date summer tour that includes a stop in Milwaukee.

Matt Maltese

Matt Maltese headlines the BMO Pavilion on June 19 at 6:00 p.m. The British-Canadian singer-songwriter is known for his bittersweet, witty songwriting. His sixth studio album, Hers, was released on May 16, 2025, and has been praised for its melodies and introspective lyrics. Maltese’s 2025 Tour For You My Whole Life includes stops across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, with festival appearances at events like Summerfest and Bourbon & Beyond.
