On January 19, 2024, “The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered” will be released for the PlayStation 5 console, bringing many exciting features that will delight both new players and fans of the game. This remastered version is of the original game from 2020 notably includes three previously excluded playable sequences from the early development stages of the game, offering players a fresh perspective and a deeper insight into the game world. These sequences are further enriched with developer commentary, providing a unique behind-the-scenes view.
Additionally, the game introduces a new survival mode called “No Return,” adopting a roguelike style. This mode features a variety of unlockable characters, some of which have never been playable in the series before, each with unique gameplay properties. The mode challenges players with diverse enemies and memorable areas from the second installment, culminating in intense boss battles.
The remastered version of the game will certainly attract more viewers to the eponymous TV series, in which Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey shine.
