According to Variety, a documentary series about JoJo Siwa, the American singer, dancer, and media personality, will be created by Dance Moms (2011 - 2019) creator Jeff Collins. The series, from the newly established company Resilient Content, will focus on her personal and professional life. It will offer a glimpse into her creative process and showcase her transition from a child star to an adult pop icon. Viewers will see how JoJo manages her businesses, fulfills her recording contract, and lives on her own.
This project coincides with the release of her new EP Guilty Pleasure, which will be released on July 12 and includes five tracks, including the hit Karma. JoJo rose to fame through her participation in Dance Moms, and her career continued with a contract with Nickelodeon, where she released several children’s songs and the film The J Team (2021) In 2020, she was included in Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world.
