John Hurt hailed from Chesterfield. Born on Monday, January 22, 1940, this Aquarius made their mark as actor. John Hurt's journey to fame began with their academic pursuits at schools like Central Saint Martins, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and the Saint Martin's School of Art.

Over the course of their career, they were honored with numerous accolades, including the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and the BAFTA Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award.

John Hurt left us on Wednesday, January 25, 2017.
