Alex Trebek hailed from Greater Sudbury. Born on Monday, July 22, 1940, this Cancer made their mark as television personality. Alex Trebek's journey to fame began with their academic pursuits at schools like Royal Military College of Canada, University of Ottawa and the Sudbury Secondary School.

Over the course of their career, they were honored with numerous accolades, including the Canada's Walk of Fame, Daytime Emmy Award and the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show Host.

Alex Trebek left us on Sunday, November 8, 2020.
