Rapper Ice Spice gave her fans an exciting glimpse into her new single “Gimmie a Light” with a smoky video preview. The clip features Spice in a hot pink Range Rover, license plate “Y2K”, as she rides through clouds of marijuana smoke, setting the stage for her upcoming debut album.
Sampling Sean Paul’s hit “Gimme the Light”, the video shows Spice living up to the song’s vibe, joint in hand, rapping “Hotbox in the V like gimme a light!” Set for release this Friday by 10K Projects and Capitol Records, “Gimmie a Light” follows her Coachella debut and her highest-charting solo single “Think U The S— (Fart).” Munchkins can anticipate her first full album “Y2K” later this year, building on the success of her EP “Like…?” which hit No. 15 on the Billboard 200.
